    Talking Wooden ducks

    Any of you fellas know anything about wooden ducks? I'm posting some pick for a friend, the duck may be from your side of the border, Thanks very much-SDH

    No pictures at the moment, but the old timers I used to know (I mean the fellows who fought in WWII and their fathers), has a bunch of these which they used as decoys for duck hunting. I've got 3 or 4 at home (no pics unfortunatly) that seem to be carved just like yours, only the paint jobs are different.

    Some of those Older decoys are very valuable if they are wooden and hand made -do a little search first looks like a Ebay item to me

    Yup. Old school decoys, and as noted, very collectible these days.
