Scrunched up text at top of banner...

Ever since I've been on here, I can barely see mu username, profile, etc as it's white text laid on top of a banner. Pretty sure it's not supposed to look like this. I'm running FF82.x on Win7x64. I have, in the past, used an older FF and chrome with similar results. Any idea why this is?

Yes, you need to grab (click on) a corner of your web sire page and pull it open wider ....

    Doug,

    I'm running full-screen at 1600 x 900 now, there's nowhere to pull to!

Try "unchecking" any "safeguarding" blockers that you have got enabled on your broadband such as for gambling, violence, pornography, drugs and alcohol, etc etc.

After years of living with this, your "fix" worked.

It's not the size of your computer whole screen resolution I'm referring to. It's the size of the windowed box you're running the web site within. It needs to be expanded!

Here's a full-screen grab of my 'puter (F-11) at 1600 x 900. I do not know how to "expand the box" past the limits of the screen. It's not important, just something "puzzling", since this is the only site that does it...

In this pic, there's an A+ and A- in the upper RH corner. Poking around live, I'm not able to find that, nor would I know how to activate it if I did. It may, however, be a clue...

Thanks. I recently had a "problem" with a well known website, not this website, when the site suddenly became unusable and is, perhaps, best described as "being all over the shop" which was highly inconvenient. After 2 days of head scratching and multiple internet searches I discovered that "unchecking" the safeguarding blockers on my broadband resolved the problem and that is why I suggested it here as a possible solution.

What I don't know is if the "blockers" were the root cause of the problem or if "unchecking" them is just a work-round solution for an underlining problem. Why the problem arose with the website in question, all of a sudden and without warning, I've no idea. Perhaps it was subjected to an "upgrade" and we've all, probably, had experiences of I.T. "upgrades"!

Ahh, terminology! Finally realized you meant "Ad-Blocker". Flipped the bit for this site and all is good.

    Thanks!

This has been bugging me for ages. Found Adblocker in settings and now the website looks like it is intended to look!

Thanks RASelkirk for asking the question.
