I'll take her to the range Saturday.
Currently I have some Winchester, but I'll go buy also Geko and another brand I can't recall, all very cheap but good ammo, at least with my handguns.

Okay you`re killing us. I can`t wait to see her. And get a range report. I love my trainer she shoots better than i can.

    Nice thing she is!
The only thing not ok is the trigger, very gritty.
    All the rest works fine
I needed a few rounds to get on target at 50 metres. With a big 16” target.
The first shot I could put on paper was at 9’o clock, far outside. That, after raising the rear sight quite a bit.
I shot another round and landed in the same spot, so I started adjusting the windage. Once in the bullseye, she stayed there.
I then put an 8 inch target and adjusted for elevation within a few rounds.
After that, even firing relatively fast, I kept around the bullseye without effort.
That with Fiocchi “Semi Auto” ammo.
I switched to Winchester “Super Speed”. At 50 metres, they landed a couple inches higher. Adjusted, and then it got almost boring.
    Great toy.
I’ll make a nice job on the trigger in the coming weeks, then I’ll have a great shooter in my hands.
Next toy will be her sister with the Garand sights.

Glad you finally got it. I know the frustration of not being able to travel to take care of business.
I’d like to see the No 2 with the Garand sight, that I presume is a rare one Mine has the Cooey rear sight and you occasionally see the Indian modified ones with the No4 ish rear sight for sale on Gun Broker. I almost “pulled the trigger” on one, but then I found the LSA Canuck that I ended up buying.

It is rare because I guess it has only been made in Italy. Very nice toy that one too. I need to make some works at home, but business is going great. Maybe I’ll be able to sin again...soon.

Just took her out and lubed and cleaned her before driving to the range. The trigger immediately improved drastically. I guess it was just some dirt and dryness. Let’s see later...

If you polish the face of the sear and the trigger, it will make the trigger much better. I had the same issue with my 1918 .22 SMLE. it was dragging and heavy at around 3 kilo's let off.
Enjoy your time at the range!

Beautiful rifle and great shooting. It`s a blast to be able to play with these at a reasonable price.
