    Looks like it was buddy's little collection of Japanese trophies: the axe, the gas masks, the rubber shoes, "thongs" as we would call them, shell, entrenching tool etc.

    Here's a couple of links to some info on the RNZAF Sawmill Units....if anyone is lucky enough to have an N^Z marked Remington M1903, these were some of the boys who were using them overseas in WW2.

    I've got Bubba on my mind....I've had 3 victims of Bubba cross my bench in the last couple of months. I would thank him for the business but I don't charge for my services.
