    RC BNZ 43 sszzA4 K98

reworked K98 for the SS carrying that designator sszzA4 , then captured by the Russians , stripped down to the barreled action , reassembled , forced matched , back in the fight against those who manufactured it , survives the war , then makes its way to Wv ,lol, this is a very lucky rifle in that it escaped the dreaded hatchet X on the receiver that denotes RC ,the X supposedly represents crossed swords , if there ever was one that did not deserve it ,it was this one

Nice early 1937 Erma walnut stock

Same as my RC '36 dated BLM K98k, which also has a similar '37 Erma walnut stock.

The X usually found on RC's, is I believe supposed represent crossed rifles or crossed muskets, rather than crossed swords.
