Tung oil removal from blued parts

    Hello
I was refinishing my mosin and applying tung oil well not exactly tung oil but minwax version. I know, I have ordered the real stuff and I figured I would use it up. I put everything together and decided on one more coat and I slipped it up. Now that it has dried it looks like crap on my receiver, mag etc. Is there a way to get it off or do I spend the day replying. Please help. Thanks

50/50 mixture of Isopropyl Alcohol and Lacquer Thinner. The mixture is used to remove polyurethane finish without removing the wood stain on gunstocks so it should have no problem removing the Tung oil on the metal.
