    Years ago, I can recall taking to some US Army Korean War veterans' about Thompson sub machine guns in Korea. They told me that only some of the US tanks still
    had Thompsons early in the war. The Chinese also had them from WW2

    The tank is question in the Life picture looks like a M47 Patton with the 90mm barrel. Of interest were the M1's. One with an M7 grenade launcher, and the M1C (?)above it. I question the sniper designation only because the picture doesn't clearly show the top part of the G&H rings.
