International Harvester-Arlington Ordance
I snagged one still in the Arlington Ordnance box. It is International Harvester #5100145, LMR barrel dated 3-54. It is a bitser; OP rod is 9SA, FCG is D28290 WRA, bolt is D28287 12 SA. The wood is walnut with numbers painted in yellow on the left side butt stock and a 152 rack number on bottom of pistol grip, black number on white. The tube looks pretty good and there is no pitting under the woodline. The interesting thing is the EP'ed rearsenal mark on right front leg BA4 1-66. I think I did ok for $400.

Not bad looking at all. If you haven't thought of it an want to match up the hand guards you could do one (or both, depending) of two things:
Strip the old cosmo out of the stock with heat and oven cleaner (...some people say it is too harsh, but it's really the best thing I've ever tried). Might lighten up some, but you'd have to use something stronger to get the numbers off. If you want to keep them you might just want to darken the hand guards a bit.
Mix up some Ritz Brown clothing dye (most supermarkets carry it very cheap) with some denatured alcohol. Straight brown should give you a reddish color just like the stock. Apply with a cloth (the fibers will soak up some of the color) to test, or a foam sponge-brush for really dark.
Great find!
