IIRC , the early ones from Numirch AO, had some billboard type marking on it anyway...

this rings a bell as they were before Karh.....
get the serial number and call Karh Arms.
Find out when it was manufactured.
It was Karh that started offering their version of the AO1911A1, as discussed above.

Just tripped over this thread, and thought I'd pile on. I was looking for a shooter, but something as close to a WWII 1911A1, with no bill board markings, and as close to the experience as I could...
they do post some great shots, like those showing the gas traps when they have a gas trap article..
But for yours, while it's a great photo, I think the story would be the selling point to make...

I use wd40 by the gallon on my snowblower during the winter and for storage/pickeling and it works..
I live at a dead end, and my driveway gets all the plowing left overs , and full of sand and...
And it still has it's magazine, those are usually missing...

yea it was up for a few hours yesterday, the forum admin said it was a crash of sorts that VBB pointed to the host for fault, and the host pointed to VBB software to be of fault.
So they fixed...
I haven't tried it, but have heard of others who would cut away the rear ramp on the follower, to make a 90deg ledge to catch the bolt.
