Let me know the asking price as soon as you decide. I've already paid a lot for the parts to restore this rifle. It's,only money, what the hey!
I've just finished the restoration of my 1905 rifle except for the nose cap. I know that these are impossible to find. I seem to remember a discussion somewhere that said there were replacements...
I'll answer my own question. The spring seems to recess into the release button and then seat in the stock.. When the action is removed the spring pops out. I put it in while pushing the action in...
When I disassembled my 1905 Ross, the bolt release button and spring popped out. Like every thing else with this rifle, I can't figure out how to reassemble it. I haven't found any info on how to...
Solved the problem! The bolt head is pulled out and and rotated under tension as the bolt is inserted. No wonder one of my books says its best to leave the sucker in!
Great! How do I put my order in?
Can you make a stock for a 1905 MK II? I just got a bubbed 1905. I have an uncut barrel and the sights for it. I'd also be interested in a nose cap as well.
Keep up the good work!
I just got an 1905 MKII and the bolt was shipped separately. I can't figure out how to insert the bolt. It seems that the extractor is out of position and I can't rotate it. I usually figure these...
I ran into a technical problem. The message is about removing the bayonet stud from the nose piece. I need to do this to begin a restoration. I do apologize for the incomplete message.
Can someone decipher the writing on the stock of my Arisaka T1? I can read some Japanese, but this is beyond me.5638656387
Interesting to say the least

Please excuse my ignorance, what is GCA? I assume it's not the Gujerati Cultural Assoc which came up in my Google search.
Will a 1898 Sporter stock fit a 1895 sporterized action? The barrel is 22".
I'm putting together all the paperwork for a CMP purchase of an M1. I'd like to know how the experience was for people who have purchased guns from them.
Gun parts, for example, barrel bands etc.
I just got a small, inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner. The instructions say use water. It doesn't seem to remove the old finish. What is a fluid that word work and be safe, rust buster for example?
An update. The spring seems to be a combination hammer and trigger spring. All the examples I've seen have separate springs that screw in. This spring fits in a notch and works for both. The rifle...
I am restoring a Gahendra and found the spring is very different from the ones pictured on various disassembly pics. This spring is "V" shaped like a musket main spring. It seems to seat in a notch...
Sorry, I'm not sending the rifle out of the country!!! I'm desporting it. Here is a pic.
Where can I get the missing fore end pieces that are missing. I would like to restore it to its military form.

This is the bayonet. It is definitely a 91. It will not slip over the front sight of my 91. The bayonet has a sight on top.
