I would agree about those jeeps and the Sykes knife. that is my point about asking the milsurp community about small arms if any that where modified and used by the SAS.
I guess i am referring more a SAS team using a No4 MK1 / SMLE bolt action rifles did they use them as issued or say have them modified to suite the conditions they had to operate in? for example...

I have a 1935 BSA in the room somewhere all i remember is that the bolt matches the receiver however the bolt number are in Arabic and the receiver numbers are in English. It does have a disc on it...

I think you should mark them as converted privately with maybe a "CP" stamp as the GRI original 22 trainers do not get cross referenced with them. The GRI stuff is usually not well made or put...
