Is there a hole drilled throught the receiver in the left hand side just above the stock line?

But, you got to admit the story was a great sales pitch.
I personally would stay clear of any rifle that has any tight spot other then the end of the barrel. And as far as someone saying how great the accuracy is on their rifle is only hearsay.
I misread the price and seen the price as 550 Euros.
You better jump on it before he changes his mind.
That is correct, The person who made it wasn't thinking too hard as he could have just as easily made a A4 receiver instead of a plain A3 receiver. That's like a money counterfeiter making $5...
When I posted it only had remington on it, I was referring to another poster who mentioned Santa Fe. There was no manufactures name on the receiver as it is a copy of a Remington.

lets see if this works. http://i1272.photobucket.com
The counterfeit receiver I had was marked Remington with no other info on the receiver. Someone went through the effort to make a pattern for casting and I am sure more then one was casted. The...
Be aware there are more then National Ordnance rifles to look out for. There are cast steel Counterfeit 1903a3 Remington's floating around.
Looks good, the rear sight in the photo is sitting high off the receiver so make sure your back stop is high enough to retain a bullet a foot high at 100 yards when you sight it in.
Just make sure the Lyman sight does not make contact with the stock and there is elevation screw clearance in the stock.
Is your receiver a national ordinance?
I also have 87,361 bare receiver with original finish. Had it for the last 1/2 century.
You can't check a chamber with a fired cartridge that was shot in another chamber. A case fired in my 1903a3 Remington will not completely chamber in my NM rifle chamber. You must use a new or...
If your rifle chamber is a 30-03 then a 30-06 would fit into that chamber. A 30-03 cartridge is longer then a 30-06 cartridge case wise. The 30-06 cartridge was introduced in 1906 why would the...
1943 pennies were made of steel and zinc plated, there were a few copper cents struct.
They sell the complete componants to make a 1903a3 a 1903a4 replica. PC03SM $375 + s&h.
All dovetail rings work the same was Redfield, Leupold, Burris, and the rear ring when adjusted for windage it turns the scope on the axis of the front ring. If you are concerned with mounting the...
The ring is not suppose to turn by hand, put a little grease on the bottom portion of ring (dovetail) and install it with the top half of ring installed. Use a 7/8"-1" dia. Wooden round Rod by...
Between 1929-1940 there were a little over 8,000 NM rifles mfg. New, and Brophy claims some new service rifles were made with C stock but are rare.
As posted several times, the 1903 rifle will fit into any a3 stock because all a3 stocks are also inletted for the 1903 rear sight collar along with the a3 forend ring. The 1903 Trigger guard will...
