I received my new carbine yesterday NPM racker SN 4196621, not bad for a rack grade, actually has a small cross cannon on the right side of the stock but what looks like a big J in the sling well....
Have heard of others with the problem of misfires using No. 41 primers. I loaded some brass with primers only and they all went bang so I loaded a box using the no. 41s as soon as I get to the range...

No stampings on the side , pulled it off of the stock and cant see any stampings.
