If you are going to shoot CMP matches and need a wider front sight, I have several options to choose from.
Paul- I have wider front sights for sale for the M1903 and 03A3. Can you figure out how tall your current is and how tall you need the wider one to be?

I have a few high front sights for the A3. About .598 - .600 tall. An "A" is .537 and I have a few of those too. These sights are .074 wide on the top portion and .050 at the base. Also some "A"...
Check carefully, sometimes the ends of the pin are peened over... formed kind of like a half assed rivet.

I have a few .062 and .074 03A3 front sights in C, B and A height. Also 03 sights in the USMC profile .590 tall .062, .074 and .100 wide. $25 ea.
These are legal for CMP matches.
