Been away for awhile. Saw this post. Looking at one right now. (GRI) I have Pakistani ammo for it in the case. Smelly original case. Pretty neat though. Word has it mine was converted to .410 before...
Staff pukes or REMF's........
Yes I have.....
All very good and accurate points. My experience with them it is a pig in a poke and usually an expensive one. I probably will not do biz again under the current conditions.
Would love to see the markings on your hardshell. 1944 hardshells are pretty rare.

I use a generous amount of kroil to soak em in. Then scrub them with Kroil and a stainless toothbrush(Harbor Freight).

Thank you PK. I inherited from my late father in law who served in the US Navy WWII. He served in the New Guinea and Philippines campaigns on LST458. I always thought it was some kind of Mauser/Jap...
Would love to see more detailed pics. Do they Samba? LOL. Welcome aboard! Thanks

Nice! Ever consider applying for Finn citizenship?
Inherited this many years ago. The absence of a ball/beveled edges on the quillon have me puzzled. The proof above the serial# seems familiar but cant place it. Any ideas? I am out of answers....
