Thanks for the information. I should have mentioned I was going left to right to remove. The penetrating oil has helped. I was able to drift out the base pin (ended up drifting it back)...

OK... I've read threads on the subject but there's got to be an easier way.

I'm using sufficient force to bend the 1/16" (tapered) punch, even used a nail finisher to try and get it started.

The Danish returns from the CMP that I've seen are all WWII serial numbered guns. Granted, I have only seen a small number (CMP guns). Perhaps the rifles purchased by the Danes were new?

Depending on the serial # the LMR barrel could be correct for your rifle. Why do you want to change it?

I think you also need a type III lockbar.

I do not have any "grade" typed on my recent certs (1 RG, 1 FG, 1 SG special). It is listed on the invoice though.
