Hi there
I'd appreciate anyone/everyone sharing their load data for the 7.92x33 cartridge, or even any sites that might have some load data.
Also, If anyone knows what the original or authentic...
well, I thought I'd share my results...
I started with 41gr of IMR4895 and worked my way down to 40gr of the same. I found that my groups became considerably tighter by the time I worked my way...
...what kind of an answer is this?? The purpose of this thread is to share reloading information.
How much 4064 would you use under a 174 projectile??
One of my 03's really likes a 144gr fmjbt sitting on top of 49.5gr of IMR4895. the results are 3" groups at 200 yards.
They sure don't make em like this anymore, do they?
Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out why some shops tell you to use the 312 cal projectile, and others push the 311's... I have a minty barrel, so I'm wondering if I should stay away from the 312's. ...
I don't use one of these - I use an RCBS Chargemaster (electronic scale + dispenser). The improvement over a beam-scale is awesome. IMHO: although people have there preference of scale, if you can...
another M1 enthusiast... well done buddy! welcome to the club. you'll find yourself falling in love all over again with your Garand each time you pull the trigger :)
check out this site:...
Cheers Ganderlite - I'll try IMR4895 as you suggested and post the results a.s.a.p.
I think this comment says it all for me...
I have my eye on a bulk purchase of 195 grn spitzers, and I'm wondering what type and measurement of powder(s) is preferred by members. just like...
thanks gentlemen... I think the ugly truth is that I'd better get my Garand looked at sooner rather than later.
yes - the serial #'s match.
the object is, ultimately, to hunt with this rifle. but, 99% of my shotting is done at the range. that said, I prefer to practice with my hunting loads - given the...
I'm in North York (401 & DVP)
if you feel you can help, would you mind PM'ing me?
interesting... I already have a healthy supply of IMR 4895 ... but was curious if the burn rate was suitable... since H4895 is similar to IMR4895, would the IMR powder be suitable in your opinion?
sounds like this requires the skills of a gunsmith... I was hoping for a simpler solution. :banghead:
hey guys,
I'm looking for advice, recommendations, and any cautionary notes you might have on reloading 8x57 ammo for my k98k.
does anyone have any pet loads they can share?
in particular,...
hi guys,
seems that the barrel on my Garand is a tad loose ... when I field strip my Garand I can, quite easilly, unscrew my barrel. is this common? more importantly, is this in any way...
Hi everyone,
My name is Rob and I've just been bit by the collecting/shooting bug. I've admired military rifles for a long time, and recently purchased an excellent example of a lovingly...
