My Polish M44 prefers .310 jacketed or .311 cast. I only tried about 10 .308 bullets, accuracy was midling IIRC.

Sounds like an out of whack die, I'd send it back to Lee.
Happydude,
what is the problem with the Lee die ?
I'm sizing some S&B brass with mine, no problems so far.
I found the .308 expander to be a real PITA. I'm sure its caused the death of 2 of my Privi - Partizan cases.
If you get the Lee dies, also get the .311 expander from a set of .303 Brit dies, the X54r dies have a .308 expander.
I'm using a 125 gr FMJ (.310) over 56 grains of BL-C2. I'm also messing with a...
That's an excellent system, I'll give it a try next time I'm at the range.

I'm going to start reloading 7.62X39 (I just started X54r), better ammo has just got to improve my SKS accuracy :ugh:

Thanks Stevo, I'll be calling them soon.

There is some Sellier & Bellot 180 gr around also. Its mostly in Ontario I think, can't find any in Quebec. No online dealers that I can find.
Craig
Thanks for the info Claven.

I'm sure the real experts will chime in below me but the short story is no.
There are people who owned full-auto's before 1979 who are grandfathered and may keep them and aquire more. These...
I think so, I haven't received it yet. From the pics its in excellent + condition. The seller said he bought it "brand new" and that he only fired 20rds of of S&B softpoints through it.
I'll post...
Thanks for the info Stevo
I didn't know there were Globe's in 7.62X54r, I thought they were all converted to .303.
Your rifle looks pretty good. Might be doable for me.
Where do you get the barrel extensions ?
Craig
The Globe butchered ones really don't agree with me. I get a sick feeling in my stomach every time I see one.
I'm going to try to get a M91/30 later in the year, need to save up the pennies :)

I have plenty of Varget around for my .308 and I'll try a few with it.
I'm going to try to duplicate the light ball first, then I'll try heavy ball later.
I have SVT tastes, but only a...
Since I have a Polish M44 on the way :dancingbanana: I decided to start reloading for it.
I plan on starting with Igman brass, WLR primers, maybe BL-C2 as a powder and Hornady 150gr SP's for the...
