Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Very tastefully and uniquely done
Stunning
I would throw a M1917 into the mix as well. It was one of my first and still one of the favorites.
Nice looking rifle, congratulations.
Very nice rifle, smoking deal for $90. You did very well. A little care as the others have suggested will help preserve it for another 100 years.
I think $400 is too much to pay. I have too been faced with this dilemma. Best I could tell, you can still find an all matching No 4 in the neighborhood of $350 if you're patient. I recently bought...
Unless it was SUPER crazy expensive, I agree you've done everything to make it right- not much else you can do.
Very cool job to have indeed
These rifles cycle fast so why not do it?
The post you referenced was informative and pretty entertaining as well. Thanks.
I agree that crack is minor and could be repaired. That sight screw is something I don't recall seeing before. Overall, a nice rifle in my opinion.
^ agreed. It might be playing the waiting game for something interesting to pop up and just jump on it

That's one heck of a project you chose for yourself, good luck!
Definitely courageous folks who volunteered for that duty!
I do not have a specific rifle in mind to purchase yet. From what I have seen from completed GB auctions and the like- matching no4 mk1/2's sell from $300ish to over $1000. For me, that is a pretty...
I have looked at completed GB sales, other sites and locally. That's where I've seen the scattered prices. Thanks for the the reply P246, your information was helpful.
I've been looking for a matching WWII Enfield no4 for a little bit and noticed the prices are all over place. It also seems the prices have been climbing the last couple years. What is a good price...
Stunning, Very beautiful. Thanks for sharing
Definitely an interesting rifle.
Betcha the linked is for the plane.
Well I got all three rifles and all three stocks were broken badly as expected. I have so far tried a Turkish 1903 stock, a Turkish M38 stock and a Hanyang stock. None worked. (I already had the M38...
Dang, I bought a nice Turk M38 stock as a gamble, it's currently being shipped. Which other rifle stocks would work? I've been searching all over and can't seem to get close to finding one. I usually...
Would a "Turk M38" stock work?
Well damn. Thanks for the help.
I so far have only two pics of each rifle, an overall and a receiver one. The ones I will be getting all have the Turkish marks on the receiver with 1935 and all have broken stocks. From the pics, I...
