I am suprised that no one has noted that the scope is properly mounted only when the adjustments are ahead of the front ring and the eyepiece snug against the rear ring!
Is'nt anyone going to point out that the scope is to be mounted with the adjustments AHEAD of the front scope ring, the eyepice almoust snug against the rear ring?
The H on the bayonet lug of the upper band indicates that it was hardened .
The U on the lower band should be "up" when assembled onto the stock,
