They do export them!
When I picked it up, it had an SK no-smith mount on it and a Tasco scope. Boggles my mind someone would take the scope pad off at all, let alone for a dirt cheap scope
It's my rifle and that was exactly what I never got round to. Haha.
Figured it was time for it to go to a new home where someone could fix it up right.
I’ll get some more detailed photos of it alongside my others once I’m home this weekend. I appreciate the extra sets of eyes!
Well that's...unsettling. The rifle is definitely V32758. Photos attached.

Hi Gil, added another L42 to the arms room. Was hoping you might be able to find information on L42A1 S/N V32758. Thanks!
Congratulations on the fantastic rifle and that's great luck being able to reunite the magazine. I have T10090, but sadly only have the single shot platform insert. They're great shooting rifles!

No, I'm going to stick to black, as it's more appropriate for this particular model. Wish I could hunt down a regular AW though! Any time I come across them, they're a bit more than I really want to...
Cerakote is the plan. I have an accredited applicator within a couple hours drive, so I figure that will be the best way forward. Spent a while this morning detail stripping the rifle in preparation.
Thank-you all! Couldn't believe my luck when I found it at a Cabela's of all places. Not sure what would possess someone to strip the finish from it, but all will be rectified shortly!
I know it's not an Enfield, but I figured this was still the most appropriate forum. Badger, please feel free to move the thread if necessary!
I have a new-to-me AI AWP (1993 production; fixed...
I typically see them sell for $1800-$2000, though your mileage may vary. I got mine for only $1200, which was freakishly low in my opinion. There're a couple in the mid-2k to 3k range on Gunbroker...
I would absolutely commit to buying a copy should Gil and Frank make them available again!
Congratulations on the new rifle! A helpful first step would be photos of both sides of the buttsocket. The rifle looks likely to have started life as an MLM or MLE before being upgraded to CLLE...
Barrels are typically barred from import (at least for us peasants). It might be different though for companies.
Although "Jungle Carbine" was colloquial and not official terminology, the term was used during the development of the No. 5 as it was intended for use in the jungles of the Far East, where the No. 4...
