Short of stepping on them they last a good, long time.
Just because they are rusty isn't a good reason to throw them away. It's usually just surface rust anyway.
I have bought 2 cases of en bloc clips from Numrich and have been very happy.
ALL were USGI.

I bought a CMP 4.29 SA-SG in 2004 that came with an HRA Bolt D6528287 .U.
I just received a CMP 4.75 HRA-SG that has a SA Bolt 6528284 A14
Would you swap them... or leave them be? :thup: ...
Just received this from the CMP.
Came still COSMO-heavy around stock
Has 1/2 inch DAS (well-stamped, can see all the feathers on the eagle!) and circle P non-serif.
Bright bore (no reparkerizing)...
