C'mon Guys..Churchill is aimiming a 03-A4
Well I guess that settles the question. Mike
BAR - I saw that as well. I haven't made up my mind if that's a helmet cover or the actual helmet. Take note of the wrinkles approx. 4" behind the hole. I took the photo up in magnification and see...
Cinders - Due respect Sir, Your wrong,
I don't think he's KIA. Look at his L/Hand firmly clenched on te forearm of the weapon. KIA would be relaxed and forearm lower.
Mike
Well Damn! - A actual combat pix with a ammo pouch on a M1 Carbine Butt Stock! Hope his rifle muzzle isn't plugged up with dirt.
Rob
Looks like # 3 Carbine from left has been altered in Pic. Way lighter in color. Sling looks like a machine gun ammo belt. I'm suspicious big time!!
Thought you were dead. :crying: Not sure how I'm feeling now.
You and yours stay safe & well. l:thup:

I seldom post anymore but I agree with JGaynor's comments to your ?'s. I,ve seen hundreds of Weavers scopes on A3-A4.s. I've see authentic originals, oriiginals that have been rebuilt by US Depot....
B-25's were used in those areas late '42' onward until Wars end and it wouldn't shock me that a B-25 crewman would be issued/obtain a 1903-A3.
Rob
Including it has a SA barrel.
US didn't mean the stock was unserviceable. Nor did it mean the rifle was. It was simply a grading/pricing ID for DCM to use to fulfill pricing/ordering requests at the time of sale.
I thought you were dead!.. Glad you ain't.
Trump may appear as pompous and bombastic on the surface. He, unlike our previous President, I believe he (Trump) sincerely cares about all the people in the world.
JMHO
if alive is approximately 8 years older than I am. I sincerely hope she is alive.
My o my would I like to have one of those traced to West Point. Make a nice companion piece to my US Naval Academy M-1922 M2
Flaps aren't down therefore airspeed has to be about 120 if there is any load onboard. It might fly like a Piper Cub but it ain't. I've flown both.
Well Bill..? I might get kicked off the forum for this but I'd be willing to pay 1/2 of your fuel cost to drop off my ex-wife at Yreaka, or Medford OR. You won't have to feed her since she has enough...
Not Brass fittings. Some sort of brass colored labels. Note the irregular horizontal lineup up of what appears to be "brass fittings"
A little southwest of Northeast..
Rob
OK It's a "CAM-Vee"
Charlie - looks like a cigarette lighter. How big is it? Does the knurled knob unscrew?
I "reckon" you don't.
Both holes in the tanks look rectaguilar. DEMOB in my opinion.
Your pics are of no help at all:nono: ..take your time, better light and tight and crispy focus. Then we can give you educated answers.
