There are even some here in Australia as well.
I have an absolute mint M941 Port contract k98 and know of another one just up the road.
The Australian L1A1s had timber furniture until the end.
I recently picked up a couple of spare bolts from a guy on abusedguns.
Colin Green had some stuff a while ago but not anymore.
I have bought a 1903a3 rear sight complete and other odds and ends...
I'd be happy to use it as a rather cool period sporter.

I've never heard of or seen a Mas trainer in Australia.
I personally have three No2 Mk4s, two Cooeys M82 and a M75, one BSA No2 scout cadet.
A friend has a Mossberg M42??? like the ones CMP...
That is sweet...the world of trainers seems endless.
I have a M82 Cooey as well as a civillian M75?? Cooey.
I quite like them, but they have absolutley terrible triggers, is yours the same??.
Would be interested to know if they are all like this....
Sweet....I've got a 1915 BSA as well that looks like it hasen't fired a shot since it was converted.
Shouldn't a correct Israeli stock have finger grooves and "7.62" burnt into the heel of the stock just in front of the butt plate cup??.
I wish we could could pick up new barrels like that over here.
They're like rocking horse poo here.
Sweet, I like it.
Very nice result.
Might I add that a space between each pic makes the world of difference.
How much play in the windage would have been allowed befor the sight base and worm wheel would've been replaced?.
My 1903 MK1 has nearly one graduation play in it.
