this rifle, M1 Garand, is worth exactly what in money or trade this capt. will take for it now, and not tomorrow. no more and no less.
the stocks on the carbines are beautiful. why are the walnut stocks on guns so nice to the eye? thanks, duggaboy
i just mounted a cmp bought , new walnut stock onto an inland carbine, not all original by any means. I got a good feeling from finishing the stock, and putting the gun back to looking nice, not...

Powder valley is a definate go.
Gunner man: I have not seen cracks like these either.

Just got home from the range in the desert canyon. I loaded some 6.5/55 sweed, and several diferent bullets type and weight. Powder was ReloaDER 19, at 44 grains wt., and the first two groups were...

amen, amen to the case neck annealing. I have been annealing cases for a long time and have really never had a neck split that I took care to anneal correctly, or for that matter any case yet shot...
I would agree that annealing is a great thing to do, to the used cases before you resize them. I think you are crunching the neck/shoulder area with too much lube on the cases. And, have you taken...
just say no: I can't abide trying to fake a nice o3 bolt deal for what? go get a remington and do it right. the smith cor should not be screwed around.
I suppose that you really don't have an idea what to do then? flip your coin and choose, can't go wrong.
