Gentlemen,
Greetings... I hope everyone is well! I am currently on my way in a plane at 38,000 feet crusiing the milsurps site... pretty amazing really!
I was reviewing the thread for my...
As per what I learned in Peter's book this is a rare piece of history, If the rifle was won at $3,800 USD, how much would the correct scope cost to place back on the rifle? I've seen scope and...
Recently purchased the book and had an opportunity to read it over a long business flight across the Pacific. Let me begin by thanking Peter (and contributors) for a job well done! I'm sure that it...
Whew! Very nice rifles. Interesting stamp on the one scope having the star of David!
I did a search on the Web to see if I could reach out to them to determine the source of the rifle but they are no longer in business. So it looks like the trail ends here.

Roger - Yes, the barrel and recover are gray so this must be a Belgium import. Actually the coating was applied nicely on the receiver, barrel, and misc parts.
I did a search on the forum and...
Roger,
Thank you so much for your time!
I took a look at the rifle this morning and added a few more pictures to the puzzle. I looked at the scope rings are they are numbered as expected...
Surpmil - LOL! I will just have to do that and get a copy. Thank you for the response! :)
Yes, those are the two that I was referring to in my post. Both had the similar markings and the rifles, based upon my limited knowledge, looked correct in all other aspects. I was wondering if...
Does any one have any information about "twin D6E Enfield Examiners marks on the rear receiver flats"? I understand that the typical mark is D7E on the right flat and D6E on the left.
