Looking for an all original, non-refurb, and correct M1917 rifle. Must have all parts from and labeled by the same manufacturer. Must have intact original cartouches on stock but no refurb arsenal...

Does it look like a 'W' stamped Winchester made M1917 front handguard?

Anyone noticed it seems like Raritan rebuilt M1917 stocks (RP-A stamped) often (1) have less sanding compared to stocks labeled with other rebuild arsenals; (2) do not have 'P' or 'P inside a square'...

Any member knows where I can find a correct SC 1903A3 serial number/production month table (preferably online)? I am checking a rifle with s/n 4748XXX. I did online research but got conflicting info....
