I used a regular m1 carbune mount on the rear of the receiver and inletted the erma receiver with a slot so it was held in place and everything lined up and it worked great. change the barrel band...

looks like one of the sleeved barrels they used a demilled gi barrel rear section bored out an sleeved it with a 03 barrel turned down look closely in the chamber area

check gun parts corp i think they have original barrels and repro parts a mod 97 sheild will fit

Bought an original trench gun that "bubba" fixed up (he cut down bayo lug and put a polychoke on it) and i am going to restore it. anyone know a source for original bayo lug and sling swivels?

my garand is bending the case rim on extraction is there a common cause for this, do I need a new barrel? gun is new to me and I was test firing it .
