What is the paperwork?
He's honest and sincere. He took care of my 03a3 with a similar problem. Quick and fair with good communication.
Very informative thread.
The Finns would not have re barreled this. That is the original barrel.
They used new barrels for the: M27, M28, M39, late war M91's.
They would not (except in very rare cases) remove older...
Hell, you could take your time and find a nice pinned stock for $200 and still be into her for a good $ amount. I paid $650 for my 5/43 Remington (9/43 barrel) last year and I count myself quite ...
I'd say that it's an easy fix to bring her back to fighting shape. My RA 9/43 has a Smith Corona pinned stock. They are pretty when they are original.
As for the $ deduction. It's not much of a collector anymore, just a shooter.
Looks pretty home made with that stitch work and cutting
Made by the Finns for target shooting, military trainers. Uncommon and desired.
Love the little European 7.65's.
Looking forward to a range report.
Or were all 2 groove/4 groove barrels made within specific date ranges?
The early No.5 bayonets were made with a single screw holding the grips on. What manufacturers made the 1 screw grip? Did all of the contracts go out at once?
Wow. You definetly get what you pay for.
These rounds will be passed on for several generations. Dave at RMC is an artist!

Many were converted to 2 3/4" 12 guage, I just don't know if Century converted them, when they imported them or left them in original...
Does anybody know offhand, when Century imported their Greener Mk.III's, did they alter them to modern 12guage? Or did they leave them in the original bottle necked, special grooved caliber?
I can't figure out, what they were trying to repair, here:

Now, here's a question. I have seen M1's with the safety having the tip broken off (to allow the safety to engage with the hammer cocked or no).
Was this a field modification?
On another sight...
HRA marked gas cylinder lock screw, but the rest? No stampings of any kind and no dimple on a wide base.

There is no issue. The M1 is a C&R and a FTF transfer occured between the legal owner (Grandmother) and the new owner. The rifle requires absolutely no paperwork (unless either of you is a...

Where was the designated break?
