wanted one of these for some time , never found "the right one" then this one fell in my lap and for a good price

Yes... I had one of those relatively recently, about two years ago. I got it at a reasonable deal and jumped, it was great shape. When it arrived, it smelled like the fish oil or blubber they use to preserve them and so it got a bath. The parts all resemble a Browning but you can see they ain't... I took it out to shoot and it wouldn't hold zero. The barrel nut has a catch that they didn't do right so it's far from tight enough or holding reliably. I think there were a couple other things needed to be corrected too. I had an original decades back and thought this would fill the old void...

I cleaned it and moved it on to the next man. If you need a scope mount, I have one for you.
