Media definition of an arsenal!

This is regarding the guy who murdered the pastor at the Illinois church. If that defines an arsenal, what do most of us have?! Carl

A dictionary definition of arsenal is "a collection or supply of weapons or munitions" so the use of the word in the article is technically correct but it incorrectly conjures an image of a large amount of deadly weapons. A person having a handgun and a hunting rifle would have an "arsenal" according to the author of the article.

goes to show how much fear they like to put into people, to make us look bad. I'd be curious to see what they'd classify my collection as.. *shrugs*
