    Smile mauser

    hi every one anyone now what this is please its a rifle of some sort
    DA with sword under it and number 97 and 147 under it
    on side of rifle german eagle stamps with numbers 359 37 37
    any help please

    It would help if you could post some pics of the rifle, although it sounds like a K98kicon German Mauser, perhaps manufactured by J.P. Sauer.

    It is difficult to comment without a more torough description or a picture, but a 147 on the receiver would, as Badger indicates, indicate manufacture by J.P. Sauer Und Sohn between 1938 and 1941 in Germanyicon.
