Japanese Trainer Rifle- Photos and Info request

    Greetings!
Like with my 1903 questions I had... I now have some for a Jap trainer rifle. I am doing active research on the one that I purchased, and now would like to share some photos, along with perhaps someone sharing information!
I don't have an overall photo, the rifle is down for cleaning... But here are some close up shots:

The above photo depicts the stock cartouche/ school mark. Is it possible to track down the exact meaning?
Here is some writing on the barrel channel of the stock:

The handguard has some writing on it also:

It is amazing the amount or lack of penetration of stain into the stock. You can clearly see naked wood!!!
I found that the rifle is all matching ('cept for some soon to be noted exceptions): Here is the SN on the receiver, rear sight and barrel:

I have a matching buttplate also. Speaking of the buttplate, check out the characters cast into the plate itself:

My research indicates that some of these were made to fire... others were not. This happens to have a cast receiver.... now I don't know if its cast iron, or other such material. However, here are some photos of the casting. Initially I though I had rust pits... until I noticed the seams and cast marks (under the wood):

Here is the photo of the trigger....

Here is a picture of the stock with the "grasping grooves" and semi- pistol grip:

Ok... here I go. I am missing the following:
    1. Front Sight
    2. Complete Bolt

Now I talked with a fella, and he told me that I was SOL... and that each bolt is hand crafted to each rifle. We tried a "standard" bolt body...and it wouldn't fit (to many lugs).
Here is a view of the "chamber" area... There are two "things" welded or cast which are in the way, precluding a standard bolt of even closing..

So what do I need to know about the bolt.... and does a Type 38 front sight fit?? Any help is appreciated. I do have a Type 38 bolt body, that I could modify.... any insight?
