    Unknown Tool

I came across the following in a box with some cleaning supplies but have no idea what it is other than some form of field tool. I suspect possible for an M1icon Carbine but my online search has only led me to the M3A1 Garand tool which has a brush at one end.

    Can anyone identify the following?

There was also a double ended plastic tube with screw caps and a cord pull bore cleaner in one end and what I presume to be some oiler device (small steel screwdriver-appearing thing attached to the end cap) in the same box.

Original M3 Combination tool for the M1 Garand. Replaced by the M3A1 Tool with a Brass chamber brush verses the sloted dowel to insert a cloth to clean the chamber.

Later replaced by the M10 Combination tool for the M1 Rifle.

The M14icon uses this Combination tool.

That M3 combo tool is a nice find. They are drying up as of late. The M3A1 is a bit more common, particularly the PB marked Italianicon made ones. Can you post a pic of the oiler and pull through??

Your oiler is WWII era also. Nice items for installing in a WWII era M1icon! Great finds.

It is a M3 combination tool for the M1icon rifle. See top item in photo. Photo shows M3 with long blade, M3 with modified numbered screwdriver blade, M3A1 with early blade, M3A1 with later blade.
