Colt M1911 from WWI

Colt M1911, shipped to Springfield Armory Feb 19, 1918, JMG inspected. Graton & Knight (faint G&K maker's mark) period holster, WJD inspected.

It received a little holster and grip strap wear since.

And taken home in December of 1918. Nice pistol that didn't do much field time. Very nice example.
