Making of the 1917 rifle (Video)

This came up on YouTube, I found it interesting.
Some clips seem out of order and some are miss-labelled, but the operations are obvious.

I don't see the original either (just the BAR post)
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

The same thing is happening on 'GunBoards'.

A picture is posted and some can see it but most cannot see it and just get a 'blank space'.

Funnily enough I just happened across the same video recently in B&W format. Worth remembering that these companies had on average a 100% worker turnover every three months! Competition for labour was fierce and employers must have been competing heavily. Both they and the workers knew that the good times would last as long as the war and so were out to get it while the getting was good.

The version I saw was ridiculously over-speed; set on half speed it was still probably faster than real life.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
