Looks like a nice carbine. My only concern would be a getting a better look at the barrel band. Is it marked with any symbols or letters?

    Wellll,
If you are buying it, it is a piece of junk. Don't buy it. Tell me who has it, so I can buy it.
If you own it, it is a piece of junk, sell it to me for $400.00 please.
I have seen carbines like it go for $1,200.00 easy. It is a very nice one. Have I answered your question.

I would buy it in a heart beat if it was for sale. 5 million Inlands are some of my favorites.

It looks totally original and almost unissued condition to me based on what I can see.

    Brick,
That is one way to tell an original, Since this one has so little use, it still shows some color difference in parts. Look at the recoil plate, it is also a shade off against the receiver. Most parts were made and finished at different times in different batches of solution. They will take differently. And different types of metal will take parkerizing differently. Thus a different color. More use and dried oil will tend to blend the colors together.
The slide is closer in color to the recoil plate and screw.

That, plus don't forget, many parts were made by entirely different contractors than the prime. All parts had to meet the finish standards but that left a lot of room regarding shade and tint.
