    Interesting ordnance tool

Post WW2 designed for the M1icon rifle (smaller design for the M1 carbine). Not very common to find this tool. Used to bore sight M1 Rifles Attachment 58118Attachment 58119

I've got a drawer full of boresight devices SIMILAR to that one, but none are intended for rifles - all for MGs or larger, up to 50mm IIRC. They belong to Uncle Sam, so none are for sale.

I never used that one of course, mine also were for the .50 and 7.62 machine guns in the Cadillac Gage turrets. Don't think they were earth shattering, but they were for zeroing MGs after all. Not point of aim accuracy after all.
    Regards, Jim
