We know that the Greek armorers used biscuit repairs to salvage cracked wood on the rifles they borrowed from the U.S.

Did stateside armorers ever implement biscuit repairs on USGI weapons?

Here is a Greek repair:



They don't bother me particularly-in light of the fact that they convey history and increase wood strength. I am putting this handguard on a 1918 restored M1903.

Opinions on biscuit repairs?
