I have a 1918 Springfield in the 92K range. I have mostly correct vintage and mfg parts on it now but I am suspect of the magazine cut-off and safety levers. They work fine, but as long as I am looking at it with a critical eye, I want to make sure they are correct. I cant seem to find anything that tells me how to identify if the parts are the right manufacture and vintage. I assumed they would just need to be not stamped with an R, and be serif letters but I saw somewhere that they switched to Sans in 1908 so that wont give me a definitive answer.

Can someone tell me or point me at a description or pics on how to ID the cut-off and saftey levers to ensure they are both WW1 vintage and Springfield mfgr?

Thanks in advance!
