I have purchased a total of six "Cavalry Carbines" ranging in dates from 1899 to 1941. Three came from DK Firearms several months ago and three recent from RTI. I bought one of RTI's "Very Good" rated Carbines when the dropped the price about a month ago. I recently bought two more of their "Fair to Good" when they dropped the price on those to $99. I just received the last two and was pleasantly surprised. One is in "Good to Very Good" condition and the other in "Very Good" Condition. One is a 1941 FNA Brescia, barrel dated 1941 XIX. The other is a Cardone with a two digit, clearly stamped date of 36. However, the Roman Numeral date is clearly "XV". 1922 when Mussolini came to power plus 15 should be 1937. Has anyone seen a date discrepancy like this. I have not noticed any before.Information
