Herter's Ammunition

I tried the search feature, and got nothing, but I apologize if this is a duplicate post.

Has anyone tried the Herter's carbine ammo that I see available at Cabela's?

And, if so, what do you think of it?

And, can the metal cases be reloaded, or recycled, or are they trash?
