    Re - Parked or not ?. I'm trying to learn more about "colours". Found this on the re-built S.G. , the one in the RMC stock I mentioned a few weeks back. Thanks. Mike.

    Been through a rebuild and has been parkerized. The oiler hole is the key.

    Most trigger housings had a type 1 or 2 dog leg hammer at one time so the strike mark is in a different location than marks for a thpe 3 hammer. A view of the top will show either two sets of strike marks, one refinished over or only one strike make not finished over.

    Thanks Bubba, ( I am 90% sure that I know who you are ). The subject of strike marks from previous hammers is something I am anxious to learn more about. Here it is from the top, the same WRA housing I started the thread with. Your opinion would be very much appreciated. Mike.
