    Inland stock

While looking for another stock out in the garage I found this Inland stock I forgot I had.

OI with flaming bomb in sling cut, high wood, but somewhere along the line the cartouche was removed, too bad.

    Still a nice looking stock.

Sorry Frank, not having a garage sale. But that doesn't mean everything in the garage is not for sale.

Does it have the circle P on the grip bottom? I have the same stock on my NPM. Could it be that the stock you're showing was a spare parts unit that was used later and not cartouched? My Inland stock has a .U. rebuild and looks like someone tried to pry the oiler out with a chisel.

    Dave,

I don't see a circle P. As for a replacement, who knows. But I thought the OI W/Bomb and Hi wood would have been early. Were they using replacements already?

Did see a repair, but who knows when that was done either.

    Hey Jim,
Here's where I asked about one I dug out,
Also found another exactly like this one but has a small CC in Slingwell.

    Cheers,
    Charlie

Range of Inland I cut stocks with no CC stamp question?

    Charlie,

I have read and reread page 348 in WB. As Bruce mentions could have been used around the 30,000 number. My 23,000 has an LA stock. I guess back to the box it has been in for 20 years waiting for a use I'll probably never find.

    Thanks for the older thread.

    Jim
