Anyone have an opinion on David miller's books:

Fighting Men of World War II Axis Forces: Uniforms, Equipment & Weapons

    And

Fighting Men of World War II Allied Forces: Uniforms, Equipment & Weapons

I had only a quick look at them and was wondering if they were worth buying. i realize it is not a comprehensive reference, but it does contain very nice pictures and descriptions, of the various uniforms, firearms etc. Seemed nicely laid out as well.

Looks like good books for over-all and quick reference.

I have them. They aren't complete by any means as I was trying to find something more substantial for the minor axis nations but for the price, hard to beat. Ollies bargain outlet was/is selling them for about $10. I believe I've seen them at another discount store as well so if you're looking at full price for them, shop around a bit..

Thanks Aragorn. Wife shops at Ollie's once in awhile. Found them up here in SW Ontario at the local Chapters outlet for $20 each.
