A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi,
Have been collecting for 40 + years . Have a mint LB No 4 sniper with the sporter butt stock .Probably a lunch box special or assembled from parts after LB closed as there are no markings on the receiver . Need a REL No. 62 scope & mount to fit it out.
Also published the Ross Rifle Story some 20 years ago.

Hello all, new here, I just migrated from the CSPicon where I was an active reader all along, I own (family heirloom) a M1icon carbine Saginaw SG air delivered to brittany by the OSS or SOE during the winter 1943/44, hence my interest in the carbine forum. I have been shooting and collecting firearms for 40 years.

Red face New to the group

    Hello All,

New to the group as of today. Used to read the posts on the old site when I was looking up reference material or needed questions answered.

I primarily shoot the CMPicon matches and I reload my own. I also participate in the NRA matches. All this is done locally (Michigan). Have yet to make the Hajj to Camp Perry and compete but my day will come.

Have recently become very interested in refurbishing some of my older more seasoned rifles. Will most likely be asking for your input from time to time and hope that I don't sound too... well you know.
