As far as the original post, as others have said, the barrel is not original to the rifle. And as someone else said, "so what". I too would just keep it as is. What would be the point of changing the barrel. You would then have to switch the stock because there would no longer be an explaination for the RRAD rebuild stamp. It took me 25 years to get around to swapping out the SA hammer that was in the substantialy correct IHC I got from DCM in 1984.

    In this case, "all" works just fine because all 4.7's in M1icon Garands are HRA's. Every last one of them!

    Unless I misunderstood, the impression I got was "all" meant "HRA" barrels and not receivers. If so, my apologies.
