Handloading the M1 Garand
I recently just started handloading for my m1 im reloading greek military brass and commercial brass that I have been saving up im using the Hornady 150 gr fmj with cannelure h4895 45gr of powder and cci number 34 primers. ive resized the brass and trimmed it some of the cases the necks are bulging when you sea the bullet the neck is still in spec with the hornady reloading manual its not bigger than .339 I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them the rounds chamber and cycle gun also the military bullets seem to be longer than the hornadys im leaving the bullets cannelure showing
Any help would greatly be appreciated

A slight bulge at the neck only means the bullet is bigger than the neck was sized down to. It's not unusual for factory ammo to be a bit longer than reloads. Unless you tailor them to that length. Hornady FMJs are my choice also.

I used a full length sizer die I tried the small base die but it was not resizing the mouth and the bullets were sliding down inside the case
