Like everything else they are not as easy to find today as they once were, but wouldn't consider them rare. My personal opinion is that the starting bid is about what it is worth in the U.S.

Careful, there are Chinese reproductions of these now. Check the listings, some even say "from China"

I asked to seller and he said the one he sells are original. Don't know him so don't even know if it's true or not.
