Warner Swasey Exloded View
This is a view from the solid modeling I did to aid in the machining of the mounting system for a W&S scope. The completed replica rifle and scope were pictured in a previous post. This view shows the mounting/adjusting mechanism and I thought the forum members might have some interest. Salt Flat

If you're doing complete "mount arms", let me know. I do have ones around which would be looking for them! Especially the M1908 telescopes often come without "a foot" (but are also slightly different to the M1913).

WOW. I just got my 1913 scope body in which the optics work except the reticle is missing :-( and none of the adjustment mount) in today and you have this posted. I have a friend who is going to try to cobble me together a mount that will look 1/2 decent for a living history display on a 1909 Benet Mercie dummy MG. It's a Hotchkiss portative with an original Benet Mercie stock and a lot of ersatz hardware but it looks pretty good and this "parts scope" is going to get cosmetically restored and displayed with it. More people are going to handle this scope than any other W & S scope made....I felt very fortunate to get just what I got but this diagram really helps! Actually if the parts diagram could be put on a prototyper that would be quite awesome.
Thanks, Al.
